Home is incomplete without a proper garden. Either it’s an indoor or outdoor, a small compact home garden adds much more beauty and peaceful environment. You can accommodate few plants and make elegant garden to spend time in early morning or evening. Here we see some interesting plants to decorate your home garden.

Daisies are full of simplistic beauty with a lot of blooms. Their bright white blooms with sunny yellow centers are perfect for beds and borders, as well as vases. They are from 2 to 4 feet tall and 2 to3 feet wider. These plants could be grown from seeds. They grow in full sun, moderate fertile soil. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera, an ornamental plant is one of oldest and well-known gardening plant for hundreds of years. It is also considered to be a medicinal plant. These plants are stemless or very short-stemmed plant growing to 60–100 cm tall on regular potting soil and in dry conditions with proper lights. As these plants required good light conditions, it is recommended to place in south or west facing windows. Growing Aloe Vera houseplants is not only easy but can also provide your family with a plant that can help treat minor burns and rashes.

Caladium is a color plant to make your garden look pleasant. These have multi colored foliage such as white, green, red or pink. Caladiums are easy to grow and maintain. They can be purchased as potted plant and later on planted directly in the garden about 6 inches deep and 5 inches apart. They need to be watered regularly and providing fertilizers help to strengthen the plant to yield more colorful foliage.

Lavender is a famous and beautifully ornamental herb which bears fragrant foliage and flowers. The blooms typically appear in shades of violet and white. Lavender plant can deter unwanted pests such as flies and mosquitoes from the garden. These plants prefer alkaline soil with pH between 7 to 9, they prefer direct sun light and dry condition above and below ground. Lavender can grow up to 3 to 4 feet high and wide, depending on the variety. Pruning lavender is essential for helping these plants flourish. When all the stem shows blooming, it is right time to harvest these plants.

This is another flowering plant with attractive flowers. These plant produces an abundance of flower buds that open over a long period of time. They flower more with long hours expose to sun each day. They almost get adopted to any type of soil but mostly recommended to acidic moist and organic soil. Fertilizing once in six months may be helpful in producing more flowers.

Maintain these plants required regular checking, proving fences like nylon chainlink fences are good to protect from birds or pets.
